If you’ve started researching pools for your backyard, you’ve probably realized pretty quickly that not every pool is built the same. Between concrete, vinyl, and fiberglass options, there’s a lot to compare, and even more opinions online.
That’s why having the right pool selection matters. With new Latham Fiberglass Pools for 2026, homeowners now have even more options to find a pool that fits their backyard, lifestyle, and long-term maintenance goals. At Paragon Pools, we specialize in fiberglass pool installation across North and Central Florida, and we’re excited to see the newest additions arriving this year.
Why More Homeowners Are Choosing Fiberglass Pools
Many homeowners start the pool process thinking concrete is the standard, simply because it’s what they’ve seen for years. However, fiberglass pools continue to grow in popularity due to their shorter installation times, lower maintenance requirements, and long-term ownership.
Faster Installation
One of the biggest advantages of fiberglass pool installation is the speed of the process. A fiberglass pool can often be installed in just a few weeks, while concrete pools may take several months, depending on weather and construction timelines. That means less waiting and more time enjoying your backyard.
Less Maintenance
Fiberglass pools are also easier to maintain over time. Latham’s Crystite gel coat surface helps resist algae growth, which reduces scrubbing, chemical use, and ongoing maintenance costs. For many homeowners, the easier upkeep is a major reason they choose fiberglass over concrete or vinyl.
A More Comfortable Surface
Unlike rough concrete finishes, fiberglass has a smooth, non-abrasive surface that feels softer on skin and swimsuits. That might sound small at first, but it’s something families notice quickly once they start using the pool regularly.
Built for Long-Term Durability
Latham pools are built using advanced composite materials designed for strength and longevity. Their construction includes Vinyl Ester Resin, Carbon-Infused Technology, marine-grade resin, and reinforced beam construction.
Fiberglass is also a great option for saltwater systems, which help simplify day-to-day pool care and make ownership easier for homeowners.
New Latham Fiberglass Pool Models for 2026
One of the biggest updates for 2026 is the addition of several new pool designs to the Latham lineup. These new fiberglass inground pool shell options give homeowners even more flexibility, depending on their space and how they plan to use the pool.
Athens
The new Athens model features a clean rectangular layout with dual slip-resistant entry steps and a timeless design that works well in both modern and traditional backyards. For homeowners seeking a straightforward pool design with ample swim space, Athens is a strong option.
Cayman
The Cayman brings together a rectangular shape with features focused on relaxation, including a spacious tanning ledge and curved entry steps. It’s a great fit for homeowners who want a pool that feels equally suited for entertaining and everyday lounging.
Providence
The Providence model brings another modern rectangular option into the 2026 lineup. Its clean design and functional layout make it a versatile choice for a wide range of backyard styles.
San Marino
The San Marino combines a contemporary rectangular shape with a continuous ledge and gentle slope design. For homeowners who enjoy lounging in the water as much as swimming, this layout creates a comfortable, open feel throughout the pool.
New Sizes and Deluxe Versions for 2026
Latham also expanded several existing homeowner favorites for 2026 with new sizes and upgraded configurations.
Axiom 12 Deluxe and Axiom 14 Deluxe
The Axiom Collection already stood out for its spacious underwater ledges, built-in benches, and relaxed layout. The new Deluxe options give homeowners even more flexibility for larger outdoor living spaces and upgraded backyard designs.
Bermuda 12 Deluxe
The Bermuda Collection has always been popular for its freeform shape and swim-up seating. Now, the new Bermuda 12 Deluxe adds another size option, with an integrated spa configuration, for homeowners looking to combine relaxation and swim space in one design.
Milan 8.14 and Milan 10.20
Compact pools continue to grow in popularity, especially for smaller backyards and outdoor living spaces. The Milan Collection’s new 8.14 and 10.20 sizes offer sleek plunge pool layouts with modern lines and built-in seating.
For homeowners who want a clean, modern look without needing a massive backyard footprint, these additions provide more flexibility than ever.
Finding the Right Pool for Your Backyard
One of the biggest advantages of the 2026 lineup is simply having more choices. Not every homeowner needs the same pool shape, size, or feature set, and having additional fiberglass inground pool shell options makes it easier to find the right fit for your space and lifestyle.
At Paragon Pools, we help homeowners throughout North and Central Florida compare layouts, understand the installation process, and choose a pool that makes sense for how they actually want to use their backyard.
